It came to a point I can no longer keep quiet. Doesn't matter how many will agree or disagree with me, today I just need to said out loud that it is very sad to be in a moment where we cannot disagree without violence. After so many years we are still unable to understand each other needs and compromise our on agenda for a greater good.
Today once again there is a war among Israel and Palestina, or, may I say, among Israel and Hamas where Palestinians are going to be killed?
We are intelligent enough to complete 6 years of a mission to Mars, can we understand that people of different religions must accept each other? Is this so impossible? Is this what will bring us to our own end? Maybe Carl Sagan was right, and we will not evolve to understand our own origins, we will kill ourselves long before that.
Pardon my english but that was no point in writing it on my primary language. I´m fully aware that as much as I love my country, most people here really don´t care about what happens outside their frontyards. I had to find a broader community to join, so, here I am, writing in English, or, at least trying my best to do so.
Going back to my previous points, seems to me that it is very comfortable for people to launch wars from their palaces and send young adults to kill and be killed in the name of their gods. Honestly, for how long are we going to accept religion and faith to be used as the excuse to all atrocities that are being commited?
It's past the time for old solutions, and it is time to our generation to step up and provide real solutions for such old problems. From my perspective, the only way to do it is by disagreeing, and finding a common ground to explore, starting from there, from an idea we can certainly reduce the fear and suffering so many people have to go through nowadays.
Doesn´t really matter how powerful Israel is terms of war walfares, this will never end. They are not respect by most of their neighboors, there is no possible equation to this situation, they must develop a political solution, fight will never solve, they've being doing it for hundred of times before.
What scares me most is that most of this people believe in the end of the world, and seems to me they will do everything in their power to make sure it will happen sooner than latter. I just cannot wrap my mind around it. Let just try to remember that even if we decide to believe in paradise we do not need to make our on Earth such a hell.
